We Moved Ideas
When we change minds, money and power follow. Making the case, disrupting old narratives, expanding the notion of what’s possible, and spreading the seeds of new thinking are key to lasting change.
Our future depends on feminist movements
Feminist movements are fundamental to a just, sustainable, and peaceful future. It’s a core idea that we are moving all across the world. Because when we make the case to governments, funders, investors, and leaders that feminist movements are key drivers of change—money, power, and lasting solutions can follow.
Making Momentum in London
When multiple moments of opportunity converge in one place, it’s a chance to spotlight feminist movements for all the world to see.
In March 2023, we were thrilled to join The Philanthropy Workshop (TPW) Global Summit in London, England, an important gathering of funders and social change leaders. It was also our first chance to publicly celebrate our partnership with the United Kingdom’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), which will result in 33 million GBP (approximately 55 million CAD) to human rights and women’s rights movements via our grantmaking across the Global South and East.

Feminist Climate Defenders
When a major UN conference on climate change—known as COP27—was approaching, we knew it was a strategic moment to amplify the vision of Indigenous women, some of our planet’s most powerful protectors.
We were honoured to sponsor the participation of Immaculata Casimero of the Wapichan Women’s Movement, who journeyed from rural Guyana to deliver an essential message that echoed across the dialogues and delegations of COP27.

Feminist Foreign Policy
We champion feminist foreign policies because we believe they are critical to more peaceful, just, and sustainable societies. And we’re not alone: a wave of countries, most recently Germany, have adopted feminist foreign policies of their own.
What if all Foreign Policies Were Feminist?
We champion feminist foreign policies
And we’re not alone: a wave of countries, from Liberia to the Netherlands, have adopted feminist foreign policies.

Our toolkit for Gender-Lens Investing
Igniting change on a global scale requires thinking far beyond our own investment dollars alone.
We are proud to join a community of activists and innovators challenging the global financial ecosystem from within.
